Super setting to catch up on missed resolutions
It is speculated that 80% of New Year's resolutions fail before February (Business Insider). If your wellness resolutions are fading fast this ones for you! The way to "cheat" resolution goals in your workout is to incorporate supersets!
What are supersets you may ask? They are the practice of doing two or more workout sets together with out rest between them. They can be done focusing on the same muscle group (think bench press and pushups) or different (think bench press and squats). They help build muscle and ramp up cardio at a much faster pace than if you did the workouts separately.
I prefer to do my supersets with one weighted exercise and one body weight exercise. This way I can keep my weight up while being able to do my bodyweight workout faster for the cardio aspect. For example one day of full body exercises may look something like this: - 3 sets of 10 bench press supersetted with 3 sets of 15 lunges (so one set of bench, one set of lunges, then rest and do your next set) - 3 sets of 10 dead lift with 3 sets of 10 burpees - 3 sets of 10 squats with 3 sets of 25 calf raises 3 sets of 10 dumbbell curls with 3 sets of 25 jumping jacks
